The Apollo Theater in Harlem was jumping today at the National Double Dutch League 16th Annual Holiday Classic. Jump rope teams from around the world gather the first weekend in December to show off their speed and acrobatics, it is quite a show. This year Japan swept the “Best of Show” with 1st place going to Masterpiece from Kanagawa, 2nd to GM7 from Chiba, and 3rd to Chrom also from Kanagawa.
But the US kicked butt in speed. I have never seen kids jump rope faster. And for 2 minutes straight. It was amazing.

The competition was awesome our kids did ok. But we were robbed for the first place Novice fusion spot but we’ll take second. Your photos are great.
