I was taking a spin around Union Square yesterday and the air seemed to be coming to a rolling boil with the temperature hitting 105. I barely made my loop when the skies turned black and the thunder started to rumble. Miraculously I made it into the subway and got all he way to 72nd street before the lines got flooded. I pinned myself under the eave and watched the lightning pick it’s targets. What a storm.
