This is the second year in a row that I went to the Easter Parade on 5th Avenue and never saw a parade. I am beginning to think that the city shuts down the blocks between St. Thomas and St. Patricks in hope that the church going women decided to wear funny hats that day for Easter.

Since the parade doesn’t officially start until after mass lets out it is basically a bunch of people looking at the people who are also waiting for something to happen. And it was cold.
