NY- Central Park in the Early Days of Spring
It is now May, and we are barely starting to warm up. This has been a long, long winter.
-

NY- Central Park Spring Warmup
It wants to be Spring in Central Park, at least the people want it to. The buds are on the trees and some of the early ground flowers have opened, but it is still really cold and that can’t be good for the spring bouquet. One happy couple took advantage of the day to get…

NY- Mess on the West…side highway.
This looks promising?

NY- Keeping up with Snow
The one thing positive that can be said about the cold temperatures and unrepentant snow storms visited upon the city these days is that they are consistent. Wait, maybe that isn’t a positive.

NY- Soho- Windows, Reflections, Graffiti and Bills
To me, Soho is still one of the richest photo environments in the entire city. Cast Iron buildings, Street Art, beautiful people, and beautiful things are everywhere you look. If you only have one day to shoot it should be on the list.

After playing around Lincoln Center with my 58mm Nikon Lens, I was driving down the Westside Highway and the sun was bouncing off the new Freedom Tower and playing tricks with the sky. I had my camera ready, but for the first time I could remember, I was hitting all green lights, and I couldn’t…
-

NY- Hells Kitchen freezes over
Actually I took these a couple weeks ago but it is almost too cold to go out and shoot tonight, so I’ll do a little catching up.
-

NY- The Polar Vortex Strikes Manhattan, again.
The Polar Vortex blasted it’s way back in to Manhattan this week leaving us frozen and covered in flakes. Scientists blamed man-made global warming for our misery, the Upper Eastsider’s blamed De Blasio for theirs.

NY- Bryant Park Christmas Fair
When one thinks of Christmas in New York City, Bryant Park is at the top of their list. You can’t beat it’s holiday market, the Christmas tree, the skating rink, celsius lounge, Winter Wonderlab, and the occasional shooting to make your holiday memorable.
