You have misidentified the Staten Island ferry terminal in your photo set. The green building adjacent to the new Staten Island ferry terminal is actually the former terminal of the West Shore Railway, a part of the New York Central Railroad. Passengers took New York Central trains to Weehawken NJ, and took the ferry downtown to terminal. It has been renovated and is now in use as the Governor’s Island ferry terminus in Manhattan.
