Unless your kids are in organized sports, you are a fireman, a track and field nut, or just a nut, chances are you probably have not been to Randall’s Island. It sits right under the Tri-borough Bridge system, is packed full of sports fields, the FDNY training facility, A DSNY sanitation plant, as well as the Psychiatric Hospital. If you walk around the perimeter you get some pretty cool views of The Upper Eastside, The FDR, and my favorite, the History Channel Billboard.
