Why did you put this together?
Looking forward to your pictures of The African Burial Ground National Monument, a scant quarter mile north of Federal Hall! The burial ground is the largest known cemetery (estimated 15-20 thousand remains in the 6.6 acres) for enslaved Africans ever discovered, in use from the mid 1600s until 1794. (Visitors center – 290 Broadway at Duane Street.)
Funny you should mention that. I go by the monument a lot and have always wanted to take pictures. But since it is a cross the street from the Federal Building, and I have been asked not to take pictures of that building and block before by some really serious looking agents, I am afraid to take out my camera because I think that they might think I am taking pictures of their building and get mad. But I will do it next time for you.
