The weather here has been dreary over the past few days. My physics teacher explained that one of the effects of global warming is cooler temperatures. hmmm. There was a storm cloud cracking a big smile over the George Washington Bridge this morning. Maybe it new the weather was going to change.

Whenever there is a threat of inclement weather in the New York State area the northern bound cargo ships park neatly on the river, waiting for the signal to proceed.

Barry Diller has certainly built himself a nice office in Chelsea. The Frank Gehry designed headquarters for his InterActiceCorp sits on the west Side Highway like a sailboat docked to its pier on the Hudson. Barry Dillers’ attention to detail shines through and through in this magnificent addition to NY.
