NY- Time Warner Center Christmas Lights in the Rain-2009

Last night I decided to go down to Rockefeller Center and shoot the lighting of their tree. I figured since it was raining and the union was threatening to cancel the festivities the crowds would be light. Maybe there would even be a Holiday union skirmish of some kind.

Well I started down Broadway and ended up taking a bunch of pictures on the way and I never made it past the Time Warner Center. Oh well, what is it they say? The best laid plans of mice and men.

in both this series and your apple store series, i love how you take advantage of the rain to further capture the holiday lights. i looked at these photos, and i was thinking to myself, i didn’t catch the ground reflections…but then i realized soon enough that i didn’t have rain that day (smile). thank you for sharing!
