I went down to 70th Street Pier to shoot pictures of the lit spires on the George Washington Bridge tonight. When I got there it looked like pirates had landed and taken over the pier. I was wrong.

A traveling troupe of artisans and performers called The Swimming Cities of the Switchback Sea had docked and were preparing for a night out clubbing in Chelsea. They told me they are spending the day here tomorrow and then performing Tuesday night at 8:00pm. They were a nice bunch of individuals so I told them I’d spread the word.

If you are looking for something a little different to do on Tuesday than you have to come see these people perform.
