It hasn’t snowed for a little while but it was still cold, gray and windy almost everyday. Not today. I think we may have turned the corner. Here are some people enjoying our good fortune in Greenwich Village today.

    This Just In…

The Obama administration will declare greenhouse gases a threat to public health today, sources said, marking a major step — both practically and symbolically — toward federal limits on the carbon dioxide emissions scientists blame for global warming.

Am I the only one who sees the irony in this? Carbon dioxide is what we exhale. Does this mean that we will be asked to breathe less to save the environment?

I read the other day that one of the results of more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is that plants are growing at a faster rate and too larger sizes. The scientists were quick to point out that although this a positive for feeding the world’s population, in the end it was very bad, very-very bad. They couldn’t explain why it was bad, just that is was.

When is Washington going to stop treating us like ignorant cash machines. No kidding the earth has a mechanism for dealing with carbon dioxide, it has been around for a lot longer and will survive a lot longer than we will. Especially if government keeps taxing it’s inhabitants to death.

The carbon dioxide scare is nothing more than a tax grab. Wake up America. The biggest threat to the environment is REAL POLLUTION, not carbon dioxide.
