“When Harry Met Sally” is one of my favorite New York movies. I get a chuckle when I think about the scenes where Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan buy their Christmas Tree in the throws of bliss only to break up a year later, and Sally has to drag her tree home up 96th street by herself in a blizzard. Nora Ephron cracks me up. I think of those scenes, no matter what season, every time I walk by the Plant Shed just North of Broadway on 96th.
And since it is the season of giving, St Francis has their thrift store parked right next to the shed. If you have anything that is in good shape but want to get rid of, every one does, we live in apartments, these guys will put it to good use.
