I heard about a show opening this weekend in Redhook put on by the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition with of over 200 local artists, including Joergen Geerd, a very talented panoramic photographer.

I had a couple of hours after class today so I jumped on the C train at Chambers Street and rode it to the High St Station in Brooklyn. I took a long walk down Henry Street until I crossed the tunnel entrance and then went west to the Cruise Ship Dock. With the help of the port police stationed at every intersection I was finally able to find the new Fairway in Red Hook. It was a long, long walk but well worth it. The BWAC had set up their show in a very nice warehouse space on the water facing the NY Taxi Waterway Stop, A much quicker way than the one I took.

It runs on Saturday and Sundays from 1-6pm for the month of October so check it out if you can.
