Mayor Bloomberg must have decided that it was okay to light the pillars on the George Washington Bridge tonight. I guess he weighed the cost of the excessive carbon usage against it being New Years Day and decided to let the little people have a present. Thanks Mike, you can turn it off and save the planet tomorrow.
